Colour Inspiration and A Winner!

Hello to all our crafty friends out there!

Well, yet another week has passed, and YAY, it's Friday!  So, TGIF to everyone.  Of course, we have a new challenge this week, but first, we have to pick a winner from last week's brads/eyelets challenge!

And now, on to this week.  We chose a really fun wrapping paper to use as colour inspiration for your project.  Here is the wintery goodness:

That's some yummy paper, isn't it???  Well, we'd like to see what you can do with those colours!  And, of course, it wouldn't be a challenge without some Scrapettes playing along.  Here's what we got:

First off, we have Ann!  She decided to use this adorable Joyeux Noel stamp!  I love how she incorporated the colours, and those papers are awesome!

Next up, the fearless leader Phebe has jumped in using this uber cute penguin image, and it's so chilly and magical!  Aren't those penguins the sweetest?

Last up, we have Dawn!  She has given us this amazing creation using the Victoria Case image called Lola Made With Love!  That textured cardstock is so yummy, and the sponging is so great!

Monday Showcase

Hey everyone in crafty world!

Happy Monday - I know, I know, not usually a very happy day for most people.  Well, I think that you should do what we do on Mondays - make a card or project with any of the brands that Phebe sells in her store!  That would probably brighten everything up, don't ya think?

Before we start, don't forget to scroll down and enter in our brads and eyelets challenge! You have up until this Thursday night to do it!

So, we have a couple of Scrapettes playing along on this fine (cold) morning.

First up, is Tricia!  She has used this adorable Swiss Pixie Nora stamp from C.C. Designs!  I am loving all that glitter, and the sentiment with the bow and charm give it a really special touch!

Next up, we have Dawn!  She has also decided to showcase a C.C. Designs image, but this one is called Coffee Kiki La Rue - isn't she adorable?  I think that striped paper is FABULOUS, and the lime colour of the robe really POPs!

Well, I hope you can have some fun too - in spite of the fact that it's Monday!

Challenge Friday: Brads and Eyelets

For this week's challenge, we want you to use brads and/or eyelets on your project!  That should be easy, right?  Well let's see what a couple of the Scrapettes have to show you! 

First off, we have Ann!  This card is sooo adorable!  She has used the Victoria Case image called Lola.  I love the bright colours, and those flower brads are so much fun!

Next up, we have Dawn!  She has given us this awesome round card featuring Made With Love Lola!  Those papers are so lovely and calming, and fabulous colouring!

Monday Showcase

Hey everyone!

Great to see you again at the start of another brand new week!  We have a couple of fun cards to show you today!

On Mondays, as you know, a couple of the Scrapettes get to show you projects using any of the brands that Phebe sells!

First up, we have Melanie!  As always, she has done a stellar job of colouring, and her papers are delicious!  Love the sparkle too!  Her image is a C.C. Designs Sugarplum image called Ornament Trevor.

Next up, I (Robin) played along too!  I used a Tilda image from Magnolia, and some fun SEI patterned papers!  We are in the Christmas mood!

A Winner, and Some Ribbon!

Hey there crafty world!

So, I made a huge boo boo with scheduling the post - it was supposed to go live on Friday, and I think I messed up the date!  Sorry about that : ) {blush}
Well, welcome to another challenge day!  Well, we had lots of fun this week with our Monday Showcase, and now this challenge.  But, first thing's first:  we need to announce last week's winner!  Thank you so much to everyone who played along with us!  Our winner is Stephanie Zito with this creation:

The lovely Kelly has used this adorable C.C. Designs image called Sweet November Darby.  I am loving these colours, and that ribbon flower is sooooo cute!!!

Here's my (Robin's) card - I decided to use Keep the Peace Evan by Victoria Case.  The VC images are really great for masculine cards.  I went for a simple look, with some fun embossing!

Please link up your creation below!  Make sure it is a new creation (no linking up old projects please), and you can play along until 9:00pm, EST, Thursday, November 18.  This week's prize is Keep The Peace Evan, which is used on the card above!

Tricia did an AMAZING job with the colorful papers and distressing to turn out a gorgeous creation featuring Victoria Case's new Winter Trio! This is absolutely beautiful!

Kelly also featured a new Victoria Case stamp for this challenge! There really is something so elegant about keeping things simple and Kelly did an amazing job showing how elegant the Joyeaux Noel stamp really is.... Awesome coloring Kelly!

And finally... here is MY design. Straight to the point, I featured the Big Dreams Evan by Victoria case. Here is Evan with his toys and a satisfied smile the day after Christmas! HAHAHAHAHAHA! No embellishments needed here! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I have one more project to post with this AMAZING design team this month, but you all will definitely not see the last of me after that. I'm positive I will bump into everyone here in blog-land. Showcase Monday And Learning To Let Go

Hi everyone, Danielle a.k.a. FitterTwit here with another Showcase Monday. Our Showcase Mondays feature stamps that you can find at The Town Scrapper. Ann kicks us off with this incredibly gorgeous Christmas card featuring Magnolia's Silent Night Tilda. I love everything about his card... the coloring, the color combos, the sketch, even the papers. Great job Ann!

Next up is Robin's offering. Simple, bold and cuter than all-get-out, Robin's card features a Wild Sprout from The Greeting Farm. Robin did an excellent job coloring this cutie pie and the framework makes this project pop!

And finally, in my attempt to cling to the Halloween holiday gone by, here is my FINAL Halloween card featuring C.C. Designs Halloween Birgitta. I so love the Halloween season and am trying to come to grips that Halloween is over. I'm learning to let go.... slowly, hahahahaha! I chose to make my project monochromatic, so don't adjust your screens! ;)
