Monday Showcase

Hey there crafty people!

We are here again with another great Monday Showcase! Did we mention that we love Mondays? Basically, every Monday, the Scrapettes get to show you....well, whatever we want! We can make any project, using any of the stamps from companies that Phebe sells! It's basically a free-for-all!

So, let's get started!

First up, we have Ann! She is giving us a glimpse at this adorable Sugarplums image called Pumpkin Emma - I am loving those fall papers, and the pumpkin in the wagon is so cute!

Next up, we have the queen of colouring, Melanie! She is showing us this beautiful Whiff of Joy image called Melinda with Bouquet - check out her colouring! Isn't it beyond stunning???

Next up, is my fellow blog manager, Danielle! She has used this hilarious C.C Designs image called Coffee Kiki La Rue. I LOVE how her hair is done! This is such a sweet card!

And last, but not least, it's Me (Robin)! I decided to go with a soft look using a cutesy Mo Manning image called Jill is Two. I know that many of you can probably imagine a child in your life on the front of this card - we all know a pouter, right? LOL

Don't forget about this week's challenge - to make a project in a shape other than square or rectangle. You still have until Thursday night to enter!

For all your papercrafting needs, contact Phebe by email at info@townscrapper.com or by phone at 519-882-0623.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and we will see you on Friday!

And for some inspiration, let's check out what our awesome design team created!

Ann used Zeke by Victoria case for this uber interesting triangle card. Smart effect with Zeke poppin up like that Ann... I love it! :)

Kelly shows us a warm and sunny Lola by Victoria case. This round card is very eye catching! Great Job Kelly!!!

Robin brings us Lola Loves All Creatures by Victoria Case. Also a wonderfully round card, and expertly colored at that! GREAT!

And finally Tricia brings it home with this ADORABLE heart card featuring Beary Sweet by Victoria Case. I love the color combination of this card! The purple dress really pops!
Now let's see what all of you do. The lucky winner of this upcoming week's challenge will receive Big Dreams Evan by Victoria Case. I just love this image!

A New Week, A New Attitude And A Sad Farewell

Wow... after the weekend's super craziness, here we are to a Monday Showcase again at The Town Scrapper and we're ready to roar! Before we get into all the crafty goodness, I'd like to take a moment to say farewell to our friend and design team coordinator Kim. Beyond talented, Kim, you have been a rock to this design team and you will be missed. Kim promises to drop by on future challenges, and when we least expect her. I know I can speak for us all when I say, we all look forward to it. Thank you Kim for everything you've done for us here at The Town Scrapper and best of luck on your future endeavors. <--- although you totally don't need it!

Whew (sniff, sniff), I know you guys are working away on the oh-so-awesome Stitch Challenge this week, so a quick reminder here to remember to upload your project to our We're In Stitches Challenge Post by Thursday at 9 p.m. for a chance to win TWO Victoria Case images.... Good luck everyone!

Now lets check out what our wild and crazy design team has in store for us this week. To get your hands on any of the images featured here, contact Phebe of The Town Scrapper by phone at 519-882-0623 or by email at info@townscrapper.com.

First up is Shelly's Super Gorgeous card. There's always something so uber-romantic about the red and black color combination and this card doesn't miss a beat! Shelly did an amazing job coloring this Swiss Pixies Ladybug Nora by C.C. Designs. The wings are such a nice touch!

Lisa presents this BEYOND-adorable Lillith by Kraftin Kimmie Stamps! Great color combo here Lisa, this is the perfect card for any little girl.

Dawn brings us another C.C. Designs stamp, Umbrella Emma. Awesome job on this one Dawn! The bright and cheery card is sure to help anyone on their way to recovery!

And finally, here's my project. I'm featuring a scrapbook layout that I did for a friend of mine. It was fun creating it and it seems that I was reading Shelly's mind while making it. I, too, used C.C. Designs Swiss Pixies Ladybug Nora for this. Here's a close up of her.
Well gang, that's it for today's showcase. I look forward to seeing all of your Stitch projects this Friday!

We're In Stitches!

Hey there crafty town!

So sorry we are a day late in posting our "Friday" challenge!  Hope you weren't in suspense for too long! LOL.  We are so happy to be back from our hiatus, and we have another awesome challenge for you!  But first, we have to choose a winner from last week.

From the entries we received, the random winner is Kim Mc!  Kim, please email or call Phebe to give her your addy and claim your prize (check our sidebar for her deets).  Here is the creation that won:

Isn't it awesome???  I am loving the black and white with the pink!

And now.....our challenge for this week is to use real/faux stitching on your project!  That should be pretty easy, and everyone should be able to play along!  So, whip out that sewing maching, or your paper piercer and template, and get crackin'!

Here are some fun DT creations to show you what we got...as with every Friday, everyone is using Victoria Case images!

First up is Shelly!  She used Lola on her project, and it is darling!  I adore that giant polka dot ribbon, and check out the little stitches on her jeans! Too cute!

Next up, we have Lisa!  The pink and green colours are so lovely, and I love the wavy border she made with her sewing!  She has used Singing Lola...makes me want to go watch a concert!

AND, last, but not least, my fellow blog manager Danielle has chimed in using Magical Sophie.  I love the orange and black colours and the cute paper.  Not only did she use some zig-zag stitching, her ribbon has stitching on it too!

In order to play along, you have to make a new and original creation using some real or fax stitching, and use the InLinx below to enter.  You can enter until 9:00 pm, EST on Thursday, September 23, and please make sure you link directly to that blog post, and not your general blog!

The prize for this week is Hockey Evan and Hockey Sophie!

If you see any images you like, or if you have any questions about stamps, please let Phebe know!  She would love to hear from you!  For all your papercrafting needs, contact Phebe by email at info@townscrapper.com or by phone at 519-882-0623.

Thanks for joining us this week, and we can't wait to see what you come up with!

Happy Monday! It's show time!

Hey there fellow crafters!

We are back with another fun reason to celebrate Monday!  When we do a Monday showcase, our participating DT members get to show off the fun brands that Phebe sells in her store!  So, let's get started!

First off, we have Maria - she has given us the ever adorable Bunny Tilda by Magnolia! Don't you just love the papers she used? And the embellishments are completely awesome!

Next up, we have the amazing Dawn.  She has given us a glimpse of Nurse Nora by CC Designs - I love the monochromatic feel of this project, and the little dragonflies are so cute!

I (Robin) also entered a card in this week.  I am using Fleur Anya from one of my fave companies, The Greeting Farm!  I had a blast colouring her in, and I made it extra girly and pink!

Now, using Genevieve with Steampunk sentiments from another of my fave companies, Kraftin' Kimmie, we have Ann!  I love the blues and greens she used, and that little map adds the perfect touch!

Last, but not least, we have a fun entry from Kelly!  She has decided to show us a really fun project using Magical Sophie by Victoria Case!  I adore the patterned papers, and the ribbons she used on her card!  The colours are so eye-catching!

How was THAT for fun???  We always have such a blast working with all these different images!  It's amazing - every DT member this week worked with images from a different company!  Now, if you need a stamp fix, or if you've seen any images that you HAVE TO HAVE, please let Phebe know!  She would love to hear from you - just email her at info@townscrapper.com or call her at 519-882-0623.

Don't forget - we have a recipe challenge running HERE - you have until this Thursday night to play along!

Thanks for dropping in on this fine Monday, and we will see you again on Friday with another fun challenge, and a winner!  Have a great week!

We're Ba-ack!

Are you ready to rock!?! We're back from our short hiatus and we are ready to rock and roll!!! I've been itching for a good challenge and this first Friday challenge post DID NOT disappoint! This first challenge of the season is to make an original creation using the recipe as follows:
  • 1 cardstock color
  • 2 patterned paper
  • 3 types of embellishments
  • 1 stamped image
  • 2 ribbons

Be sure to upload your creation to the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post by Thursday, September 16th at 9 PM. And for some ROCKIN inspiration, let's check out what our wonderfully rested design team created!

Tricia really turned up the volume on this Rock Star Zeke by Victoria Case! The eyelets for the "O's" is just the most excellent touch!

And as if Tricia and Melanie planned this, Melanie followed with her own rockin riff. Rock Star Lola is colored PERFECTLY and shines up against the music sheet background. Yah, that rocks!

Maria scores with Hockey Evan by Victoria Case.... GOAL!

Shelly's incredible card reminds me that Halloween is right around the corner and I'm suddenly giddy with excitement. This little Magical Sophie by Victoria Case is the perfect image to get you thinking about the upcoming festivities. I just LOVE this color combo!

And fellow blog manager and design team member, Robin, also chimes in with Magical Sophie with a more "princess" feel and again we see the versatility of these wonderful Victoria Case images!

Not to be outdone, Dawn adds a little bit of flavor with this adorable Made With Love Lola by Victoria Case.

Is this not the perfect card for the season? Ann did a fabulous job with You Are So Birdiful by Victoria Case, and the paper flowers are just rockin my socks!

In her own rock and roll style, Lisa gives us a little retail therapy using Lola With Purse by Victoria Case. For your own "retail therapy", be sure to email Phebe at The Town Scrapper for great "Welcome Back" specials and to get your hands on these wonderful images. Her email is: info@townscrapper.com or you can give her a call at 519-882-0623.

The winner of this week's challenge will be getting Made With Love Lola by Victoria Case (also used for Dawn's project).

Have a blast with this challenge everyone. We are SUPER excited to see what you create.... we missed you all so much! Let's Rock and Roll!
